How did you do?
10-12: Amazingly up with the play!
7-9: Definitely hooking into younger generations
5 – 6: About average for most of us!
0 – 4: Keep trying! Learning a new language is great for your brain!
Here are some more if you’d like to go further ….
Have fun!
Waiting for the day when those acronyms will be used in business correspondence, maybe in everyday language…
Thank you – very useful
Have had fun making up my own language as I only knew one!
Trouble is, by the time you sort out and learn what they are, they change ……! Good on your for having your own code for these.
I see what you mean but as a long-time teacher of English, I’m not sure that a shorthand code like this can ever replace the clarity of well-expressed language. But who knows? Everything evolves as we realise when reading The Canterbury Tales or Twelfth Night. Thank you for the stimulating comment.
Do not like this lazy way of using language. I love to use proper English when I write and appreciate it when others do the same.
Of course! And so say all of us. However, there are so many of these internet acronyms around, interpreting them can become another brain challenge for us!
